Back Inside Guide
After 7 months of meeting online or outside, it’s time to go back inside! We are so excited about our new location - Prairie Oak Community Church in Andover at the corner of Hanson/161 St. Here’s what you need to know before our first service at 10am on Sunday, September 27th :
Seating in the auditorium will be spread out to accommodate physical distancing. We will also provide a live stream into the commons area for those that feel more comfortable participating that way.
There will be several touchless hand sanitizer stations throughout the building as well as thorough cleaning procedures during the week to keep our kids and adults safe during their time in the building.
In accordance with MN mandate, we will require a face mask or covering when individuals enter the building. If you forget your mask, we will have extras on-hand. Children 5 and younger will not need to wear a mask nor will those with a medical reason. You will not need to provide any details as to why you cannot wear a mask.
We will be opening up Transform Kids for birth through 5th grade! There will be four classrooms to reduce the number of kids in each room. Safety and security are still a top priority. There’s health screening questions during the check-in process. All toys and spaces will be sanitized and teachers will be wearing clear face shields. There are bathrooms for hand washing and touchless hand sanitizer stations near check-in.
Please stay home and join us online if you have any of the following symptoms:fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or you’ve been in contact with anyone confirmed to have COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
If you are planning to participate online only this fall we want you to know that we value you, we haven’t forgotten about you and you are just as much a part of our church at a distance. We encourage you to stay connected by commenting on the Facebook live stream Sunday mornings, emailing prayer requests to firstname.lastname@example.org and joining a Zoom community group during the week.
You do not need to reserve your spot at this time. Prairie Oak is a large facility with lots of room to spread out. We will also consider adding a second service if more space is needed according to MDH recommendations.
If you have a compromised condition and want to get in and out of the service quickly, we have an alternative entrance and exit with reserved seating just for you! Please come early and follow the signs to this location.
