Our Pastor

Mark Katzenberger

Baptism is the outward symbol of an inward reality. In baptism we go under the water to symbolize we have been buried with Christ and come back out to symbolize our new life with Him. Baptism doesn’t save anyone, but it’s an important step to go public with your faith and identify as a follower of Christ.

“Transform is about lives changed and relationships restored through Jesus Christ. We'd love for you to become part of the family-you won't regret it.”

Pastor Mark Katzenberger

Pastor Mark and Krystal planted Transform Church in 2019 along with 100 others that jumped in to be a part of the “launch team.” Prior to starting Transform Mark was a Youth Pastor at New Hope Community Church in Cambridge, MN and an Associate Pastor at Connections Church in Ramsey, MN. Krystal served in staff roles at both churches and currently leads several ministries at Transform.

Mark and Krystal have three kids-Caleb, Lilyanna and Joyanna that love being involved at every level inside of Transform. The Katzenbergers love the Andover community and all the crossover they have between the schools, the church and the community. When they aren’t involved at the church they love to fish, swim, hike and travel whenever possible.

Prior to planting Transform Mark graduated from The University of Northwestern in St. Paul, MN with a Biblical Studies degree and minor in Youth Ministries. He later went on to receive his Masters of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. When the time came to plant Transform, Mark and Krystal went through rigorous assessments from their Converge denomination and Acts 29 church planting network.

Mark and Krystal are thrilled with what God has done at Transform and have enjoyed the ride that God has taken them on as Transform continues to grow and reach the community with the good news of Jesus Christ.
